Instagram’s new rules for teenagers

Social media platform Instagram is bringing new rules for the safety of teenagers. Accounts of those under 16 years of age will automatically be converted to ‘Teen Accounts’. Children under 16 years of age will now need parental permission to change certain settings. Teen accounts have built-in protections from the company regarding who can contact the children.
