New Delhi: Railway minister Piyush Goyal launched the Rail Drishti dashboard earlier this week on Monday. Users will be able to access railway information from various sources on a single platform with Rail Drishti. The portal can be accessed through desktop, laptop, mobile phones or tablets. Rail Drishti is simple, user-friendly and easy to navigate.
Passengers who wish to check their PNR status can easily do so with this platform now. Since the interface is extremely user-friendly, one can easily check their PNR status, complaint status, train on run etc.
Here’s how you can check PNR status through Rail Drishti:
Step 1: Visit Rail Drishti website and locate the ‘Services’ tab on the homepage.
Step 2: Once you click services, you will be directed to another page which shows ‘PNR Enquiry’ option.
Step 3: Enter the PNR number in the given space and click on ‘Go’.
Step 4: Your PNR status will be displayed on the screen.
Worth mentioning here is that passengers can now track any train or contact the housekeeping staff. There are filters in the dashboard to find specific trains. Passengers can also view live feeds from the cameras installed in various IRCTC base kitchens and can see how the food served to them in trains is being cooked and packed.
