Some reasons for a WhatsApp ban include:
- Spam
- Selling items prohibited by WhatsApp’s policies
- Putting WhatsApp users’ safety at risk
- Creating a false identity
- Impersonating someone
- Using a profile picture that’s not yours
Temporary bans are issued for less severe infractions or first-time violations. Ignoring the guidelines during a temporary ban can lead to it becoming a permanent one.
