X has removed the picture-making AI chatbot Aurora from its platform. However, X owner Elon Musk said that technical improvements are being made in Aurora and it will soon be available to users again. Recently, X announced to make Aurora free for everyone to use. Earlier this feature was in the Grok model under the name Grok 2 Aurora, which was later replaced by Grok 2 X Flux. However, many users had lodged their complaints regarding some of its features. It is believed that some such features are being improved.
