Department of Posts India, Uttar Pradesh Postal Circle, Lucknow invites applications for filling up of 19 Vacancies of Staff Car Driver (Ordinary Grade) [General Central Services, Group-C, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial] in different Divisions/Units of U.P. Circle, on Deputation/ Absorption Basis. The closing date for receipt of applications is 12th March 2018.

Age Limit: Not be exceeding 56 Years as on 12th March 2018.

Eligibility: From officials holding the post of Dispatch Rider on regular basis or regular Group ‘C employees in Pay Matrix Level-1 as per 7th CPC [under PB-1 Rs. 5,200 to 20,200 + GP 1800 as per 6th CPC] in other ministries of the Central Government, who fulfill the necessary qualification prescribed as under:-

(1) Possession of a valid Driving License for light and heavy motor vehicles;

(2) Knowledge of Motor mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicle);
(3) Experience of driving light and heavy motor vehicle for at least three years; and
(4) Pass in 10th Standard from a recognized Board or Institute.
