फरवरी 2024 में गूगल मैप्स का असिस्टेंट ड्राइविंग मोड बंद हो जाएगा। इसके तहत एप में एक डैशबोर्ड मिलता था जिसमें मीडिया सजेशन, ऑडियो कंट्रोल और मैप आदि दिखते थे। जल्द ही एक नया यूजर इंटरफेस मिलेगा। एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, गूगल एप में बदलाव का कोड मिला है। गूगल मैप्स का यह फीचर खासतौर पर उनके लिए था, जिनके पास कार है।
