अगर हमें बुखार आता है तो थर्मामीटर की जरूरत होती है, लेकिन आने वाले दिनों में आप स्मार्टफोन से शरीर के तापमान का पता लगा पाएंगे। हाल ही में गूगल ने पिक्सेल 8 प्रो स्मार्टफोन में मानव शरीर के तापमान मापने की सुविधा शुरू की है। फोन को किसी व्यक्ति के माथे पर लगाकर स्कैन किया जाता है और इससे शरीर के तापमान को मापा जा सकता है। शरीर इंफ्रारेट रेडिएशन या गमर्मी उत्सर्जित करते हैं। इसे मापने के लिए पिक्सेल 8 प्रो में इन्फ्रारेड सेंसर दिया गया।
