Power Grid PGCIL Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:
Field Engineer-NOFN:
B.E/ B.Tech / BSc.(Engg.)/AMIE in any discipline of Engineering from recognized University / Institute With Minimum 50% marks.
Field Supervisor-NOFN:
- Diploma in any discipline of Engineering from recognized University /Institute With Minimum 50% marks.
- Higher qualification of B.Tech/B.E/ Tech / Bsc. (Engg.)/AMIE with 50% marks will not be a bar
Note: Should have one year Post Qualification Experience for NOFN (Field Engineer, Field Supervisor)
Field Supervisor-JCP:
- Diploma in Electrical / Civil Discipline from recognized technical Board/ Institute with minimum 55% marks
- Higher qualification of B.Tech/B.E/ Tech / Bsc.(Engg.)/AMIE with 50% marks in Electrical/ Civil Discipline will not be a bar
Equivalent stream for Electrical – Electrical/Electrical (Power)/ Electrical and Electronics/ Power Systems Engineering/ Power Engineering (Electrical)

Power Grid PGCIL Recruitment Selection Process:
- Field Engineer – Interview
- Field Supervisor – Written test
For Field Engineer:
Selection will involve Interview only, of the eligible and shortlisted candidates.Candidates shall have the option for appearing the Personal Interview in Hindi or English.
For Field Supervisor:
- Candidates qualifying in the written test shall be empanelled in the order of merit of marks obtained in written test.
- The test would be of 1 hour duration
- Technical Knowledge Test – 50 questions based on Diploma syllabus in the relevant discipline
- Aptitude Test – 25 questions based on Logical reasoning, data interpretation, comprehension, vocabulary, data sufficiency and numerical ability
- All questions would be MCQ type with 4 options and carry equal weightage (1 marks each) and there shall be no negative marking.

Executive Trainee (Law):
- Full time Three years LLB or Five years integrated law course with not less than 60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per the formula provided by the Institute/ University.
- Final Year / Semester students of academic session 2017-18, who expect their results by
31.08.2018 are also eligible to apply. - Age limit(As on 31.05.2018): Below 28 years
Executive Trainee (HR):
- Two years full time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma/ MBA in HR/ Personnel Management & Industrial Relations/ Social Work (with specialization in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations)/ HRM and Labour Relations/ Labour and Social Welfare from recognized University/ Institute with not less than 60% marks.
- Final Year / Semester students of academic year 2017-18, who expect their results by 31.08.2018 may also be considered eligible.

The Selection Process based on following criteria:-
For Executive Trainee(Law):
- For ET (Law), Candidates should appear in CLAT 2018 (applicable for admission in LLM/PG courses) to be eligible for next stages of selection in Powergrid.
- Qualifying Marks in CLAT for consideration of candidates for next stages of selection process in POWERGRID: UR Vacancy – 40% and Reserved Vacancy – 30%
- Candidates shall have the option for appearing the Group Discussion / Personal Interview in Hindi or English.
For Executive Trainee(HR):
- For ET (HR), Candidates should appear in UGC-NET July 2018 examination to be eligible for next stages of selection in Powergrid.
- NET (June 2018) Paper and Subject Code: Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/Labour & Social Welfare/ Human Resources Management (55)
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: Secure at least 40% aggregate marks in both the papers (i.e. Paper I and Paper II) taken together (relaxed to at least 35% for candidates belonging to the reserved categories (i.e. SC, ST, OBC (NCL) & PWD)
- Candidates shortlisted for the Group Discussion and Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter.
